Speakout Campaign
In a recent news letter the Conservative Party said:
Why, for goodness sake, should people's advocates not sign their name to a non-party political people's movement? In fact there are several groups called "Speak Out" one of which is a eurosceptic group that ought to be populated mostly by Conservatives (Speak Out).
Of course they could be referring to this apposite organisation: Speak Out for European Citizenship.
Either way, the party should be not be "strongly advising" their elected representatives in this way.
Members may have received correspondence from 'Speakout' a non-party political, people’s movement. Members are strongly advised to ignore this mailing.I am seriously suspicious of this.
