Are Chinese plans dangerous?
China's Shanghai institute unveiled a rover today that may look at the moon.
But the thing that stood out to me was that it is going to be nuclear powered. I cannot find a source, but I was sure that nuclear rovers were not launched by the US because of the risk of high-atmosphere nuclear explosion...
Am I wrong?
You know me, I'm very keen on scientific progress, so I'm asking this question from a position of concern rather than a type of NIMBY-ism.
